I live in Farmingdale with my husband of 30 years, and my son, who attends Sacred Heart University in Connecticut.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending hockey games, and traveling. My two favorite things are being at the beach and reading a good book. Both together...HEAVEN!!
I have been teaching for over 30 years. In 1986, I began teaching in the Diocese of Brooklyn and transferred to the Diocese of Rockville Centre in 1996.
I have been teaching at St. William’s since 2006, in both third and fourth grades. During my career, I have taught grades three through eight.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (N to Grade 6) from State College at Oneonta. I received my Master’s Degree in Reading/Literacy (N to Grade 12) from Hofstra University. I hold a New York State Permanent Certification in Literacy (Birth to Grade 12).

What is RtI?
Response to Intervention is offered in ELA and Math to students who require support in those areas. The support is offered in a small group setting where skills are differentiated to meet the needs of the students. I will work closely with the classroom teachers to help students succeed.
During Math, students will work to improve all areas of Math, including Math facts, computation skills, and word problem-solving skills.
Welcome!
I look forward to working with students to help them to grow as readers, writers, and mathematicians. Small groups will work together, using a variety of activities to improve your skills.
My motto for my students has always been: “You can do anything if you put your mind to it!!”
