  • Getting to Know Me . . .

    • This will begin my fifth year of teaching.
    • I taught in the Diocese of Brooklyn for three of those years, and this is my second year at SWS. I am so very excited!
    • I graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood.
    • I will be receiving my Master’s Degree in Special Education.

    Favorite Saint
My favorite Saint is Saint Francis of Assisi. He is my favorite because of his love for animals and all of God’s creations. Saint Francis of Assisi has the same name “Francis” as my great aunt, with who I was very close. She also loved animals, had a farm in Saratoga, NY, and loved all of God’s creations, just as he does!

    Favorite Quote
“Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” -Saint Francis of Assisi

    Favorite Bible Verse
"It is God who arms me with STRENGTH and keeps my way secure." - Psalm 18:32

    Favorite Book
    Dragons Love Tacos

    Hobbies
    Crafts, traveling, and being outdoors!

  • Welcome!

Welcome to St. William the Abbot Pre-Kindergarten class! The first days of school are always exciting for me, and this year will be no exception! With your encouragement, your child will be a part of many exciting and rewarding experiences this 2021-2022 academic year. In Pre-K, our students will explore various topics through imaginative and cooperative play. They will continue to develop their fine and gross motor skills, such as cutting and using the proper pencil grip. We will concentrate on letters and letter sounds, penmanship with proper letter formation of both upper and lower case letters, sight words, journal writing, and basic literacy. They will also learn and build upon reasoning and number sense. Religion is a very important part of our curriculum as well. They will be able to recognize that we gather as the friends of Jesus, God knows and loves us, God gave us the world, Jesus is God’s own Son, we talk to God in prayer, and that we celebrate holy days and holidays. What makes our class so unique is the ample opportunity to express themselves through play, as well as academics. Students will have the ability to work together, as well as grow in independence through daily activities that are engaging and challenging.

    Message to Parents!

Thank you for choosing St William the Abbot School and for entrusting me to be your child’s teacher. Our 2021-2022 school year is going to be amazing. Maintaining a line of communication between the student, parent, and teacher is key to a child’s academic success. I am excited to meet and build relationships with each and every one of you throughout the year about your children. Our main line of communication that will be used this year is Class Dojo. Our Class Dojo page is updated daily with pictures of your children partaking in their daily activities, see daily reminders, etc.
